Pavement markings are our core service — the work Falcon was founded on 25 years ago. From small commercial parking lots to highway lane miles to multi-story parking garages, we handle the full scope: layout, surface prep, application, and quality verification.
We work with all four major marking materials — paint, thermoplastic, preformed, and cold plastic — matched to the surface, traffic load, and lifespan the project needs. We comply with ADOT, MUTCD, and local city/county standards.

Multi-story striping with bay numbers, directional arrows, ADA, and column markings. Tight clearances, hand-applied where needed.

Lane lines, edge lines, crosswalks, and stop bars for streets, arterials, and highway projects. ADOT and city/county compliant.
Symbols & Legends
Arrows, ADA symbols, fire lanes, custom stencils, and wayfinding graphics. Painted or preformed thermoplastic.
Removal & Obliteration
Water blasting and/or blackout to remove existing markings cleanly. Required for restripes and layout changes.

Pavement Marking FAQs
What's the difference between paint, thermoplastic, and preformed markings?
Paint is the most economical option and works well for parking lots and lower-traffic areas. Thermoplastic is heat-applied, far more durable, and standard for roads and high-traffic zones. Preformed thermoplastic comes as pre-cut shapes for symbols and legends, heat-bonded or pressure-bonded to the pavement. We match the material to your surface, traffic load, and the lifespan the project needs.
How long does new striping take to dry before traffic can use it?
Water-based paint is typically dry to traffic within 30 to 60 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. In the summer, it can be dry in as little as 15 minutes. Thermoplastic cools and is ready for traffic within minutes of application. We plan the sequence and any needed lane closures around your operations to minimize disruption.
Do you handle ADA-compliant parking lot striping?
Yes. We lay out and stripe ADA-compliant accessible spaces, access aisles, and required signage and symbols to current Arizona and federal accessibility standards. ADA compliance is one of the most common issues in older lots, and we can bring an existing lot up to code as part of a restripe.
Can you remove or cover old markings before restriping?
Yes. We remove existing markings by water blasting when a layout is changing, and we can overstripe or blackout when the layout is staying the same.
What standards do your road and highway markings meet?
Our roadway markings comply with the MUTCD, Arizona DOT specifications, and applicable city and county standards. We handle lane lines, edge lines, crosswalks, stop bars, and symbols for streets, arterials, and highway projects across Arizona.
