ABOUT

25 years of pavement marking. One mission.

We’re a Phoenix-based, woman-owned pavement marking subcontractor serving Arizona and AirMark® projects across the Southwest. Family started, family run, and built on the work itself.

OUR STORY

Family built. Built to last.

Falcon Contracting was founded in 2001 by Nikki and Skip Schultz. In the early days, the office was the living room of their Phoenix home. Nikki managed the books and helped in the field while finishing her degree; Skip led the estimating and crews in the field. Long days, both of them, both places — and two young kids at home, Cody and Morgan. Then in 2008, Ramiro joined our Field Team.

The company grew from that first year of hustle. Falcon eventually leased its first commercial space and hired its first small crew, and from there kept building — project by project, into the company it is today. Skip led as VP and Marketing Manager for years, with Morgan and Cody working alongside him as his team. Nikki handled scheduling, accounting, and general operations. As we grew, Ramiro continued to thrive as a field leader and assumed the role of Field Manager.

When Skip passed, Morgan stepped into his role and Cody became a steady presence on the team. Ramiro was elevated to the Operations Manager role. We developed a strong Leadership Team that Nikki leads today comprised of Maria Rivera, Morgan Schultz, Noemy Ortega, and Ramiro Corona. Today Falcon is still family — not just Nikki, Morgan, and Cody, but a workforce that includes other siblings, parents, sons, daughters, and cousins working together. It's the kind of company where "family built" isn't a slogan; it's how the work actually gets done.

TEAM

The team behind the work.

Falcon is built on the people who show up every day. From the field crews who put paint to pavement, to the office team that keeps it all running — here’s the team that makes it happen.

LEADERSHIP

TEAM OF 5
Nikki Weiss
OWNER & PRESIDENT
Nikki Weiss

Nikki founded Falcon Contracting in 2001 and has led the company as Owner and President ever since. With 27 years in the construction industry and Six Sigma Black Belt training, she runs operations, business development, and the financial side of the company — and stays hands-on with projects from bid through closeout. She's Falcon's day-to-day face with clients, GCs, and the team.

Ramiro Corona
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Ramiro Corona

Ramiro joined Falcon in 2007 and has worked his way up through every role in the field — Crew Member, Foreman, Field Supervisor, and now Operations Manager. His depth in paint, thermoplastic, obliteration, and rubber removal comes from personally leading projects at over 15 Arizona airports, including Sky Harbor, Tucson International, Luke AFB, and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway. He's Airfield Marking Professional (AMP) certified and holds the operational knowledge that keeps crews and project management moving efficiently.

Noemy Ortega
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
Noemy Ortega

Noemy leads Falcon's finance team, overseeing HR, payroll, and accounting across the company. She's the operational backbone behind every paycheck, every benefit, and every financial close — and the person keeping the business side of Falcon running smoothly year after year.

Maria Rivera
PROJECT MANAGER
Maria Rivera

Maria brings over 17 years of construction industry experience to Falcon's project management team. Her background spans contract administration, estimating coordination, and subcontractor management — deep expertise in bonds, insurance, permits, submittals, and the full documentation lifecycle of complex projects. She also serves Falcon's Spanish-speaking clients and crews.

Morgan Schultz
MARKETING MANAGER
Morgan Schultz

Morgan grew up in Falcon — she started estimating at nine years old and joined full-time in 2016. Over the past decade she's modernized Falcon's branding and marketing, and helped land some of the company's biggest contracts to date. Today she manages marketing while driving process improvements across estimating and operations.

WHAT GUIDES US

Our core values, in depth

01
Good communication
Construction is full of moving parts — weather, materials, schedules, change orders. The way we keep all of that on track is by being direct, responsive, and proactive. If something's slipping, we tell you before you ask. If we have questions, we ask them early.
02
Make others better
The best projects happen when everyone's lifting each other up — our crews, our GCs, our clients. We bring solutions, not just problems. We share knowledge, train hard, and look for ways to make the whole team stronger.
03
Dedicated
Show up. Do the work. Finish the job. It sounds simple but it's the foundation of everything. Our crews work nights, weekends, and through the heat because that's what the project needs. Our office team is responsive on weeknights and weekends when a bid is due Monday.
04
Do the right thing
Even when nobody's watching — especially then. We don't cut corners on materials, prep, or quality. We don't overcharge change orders. We don't dodge accountability when something goes wrong. The right thing is also the long-term smart thing.
05
Attention to detail
Straight lines, sharp edges, accurate symbols, durable materials. Pavement marking is one of the most visible parts of a finished project — if it looks sloppy, the whole job looks sloppy. We obsess over details because that's what separates good striping from great striping.
+1
The Falcon way
These five values aren't a poster on the wall. They're how we hire, how we run projects, and how we decide what to say yes or no to. When the values and the contract conflict, the values win.
