As required at all international airports, a high degree of quality and accuracy is required for the pavement markings that direct air traffic and position aircraft to utilize the various taxiways. Sky harbor is no exception. Falcon Contracting continues to provide detailed and complex markings for numerous projects at the airport for various General Contractors. We support the planning and work scope definitions for a variety of marking projects and can be called upon to provide advice and support directly to the operations personnel to accomplish the tasks that keep one of the busiest airports in the USA functioning smoothly. Our work has consisted of the following:
Restriping Taxiway Alpha to meet current FAA guidelines (CSW Contractors)
West Hold-Bay striping (Kiewit Construction)
Restriping the East Economy Garages A & B (J. Banicki Construction)
Phoenix Sky Train striping package (Hensel Phelps)
Work for these projects has consisted of airside and non-airside markings including taxiway striping, hold bar markings, non-movement lines, movement lines, apron striping, gate striping, roadway striping, and parking lot striping. Our personnel meet the strict security guidelines and are badged to work airside without escorts from the General Contractors.
